The evolution of the vinciDuino is a great little board for data logging and on-board storage. The board is currently being design to support the exact same features, board layout, form factor and component placement and the main vinciDuino but with a uSD connector on the bottom of the board.

Following the vinciDuino success, the vinciDuino team is now preparing a range of vinciDuino evolution platforms which are going to be the best of its kind in the Open Hardware world.
The evo Proto is an Open Hardware Arduino/AVR/vinciDuino prototyping board with a built in prototyping area around the vinciDuino core. It is ideal to start prototyping or even use it as a permanent project once finished. The board can be used with the vinciDuino core fitted or on its own as a prototyping shield.
All vinciDuino pins are broken out to the prototyping area including the power rails, so you can get your designs up and running in not time.
The vinciDuino evo Proto, is the first board that we’ve ordered in this line and it is coming from the fab house. The board will soon be available but you can already access the documentation:
